The air was abuzz with excitement as AirAsia, one of the leading airlines in the region, organized its grand travel fair, FlyFest Cebu, at the Ayala Center Cebu.
As a traveller on a budget, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to attend this event and discover what the airline had in store for its passengers. Little did I know that my visit would turn out to be an unforgettable experience, as I not only gained insights into AirAsia‘s expansion plans but also won two roundtrip domestic tickets. It seemed like fate was on my side, securing my journey to Manila for a much-anticipated esports event by the end of the year!

From the moment I stepped into the Ayala Center Cebu, I could sense the energy and excitement in the air. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the presence of AirAsia’s chief executive officer, Ricky Isla, and regional commercial head, Allenie Caccam. They took the stage to announce AirAsia’s expansion plans for Cebu, utilizing the Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City. The executives discussed the airline’s commitment to providing affordable and convenient travel options for people in the region. As they shared their vision, it was evident that AirAsia’s passion for connecting people with their dream destinations was at the heart of their plans.
Winning the Tickets
As the announcements came to a close, the atmosphere was already buzzing with excitement. Attendees were eagerly awaiting the lucky draw, hoping to win the coveted roundtrip tickets. To my utter surprise and joy, my name was called out as the winner of two domestic roundtrip tickets! My heart raced with excitement, knowing that I had secured my passage to Manila for the upcoming esports event. It was a stroke of luck that I will forever be grateful for.
