Big Bad Wolf Roars Back into Cebu: G Mall Hosts Massive Book Fair July 25–August 4

Cebu City, July 15, 2025 — The Big Bad Wolf Book Fair is making its much-awaited return to Cebu, opening its doors from July 25 to August 4 at the Atrium of G Mall Cebu.

Known for its wide selection of discounted books and open-for-all setup, the fair is once again expected to draw in large crowds of readers, families, students, and bargain hunters. After successful runs in Manila, Clark, and Greenhills earlier this year, the global book event is heading back to the Queen City of the South with millions of titles in tow. This marks the first time the Cebu leg will be held at G Mall, offering a more central and accessible venue for locals and visitors alike.

Big Bad Wolf co-founder Jacqueline Ng said the venue shift was made to better serve Cebuanos.

“Some customers asked if we could be nearer to the city center so here we are,” she said. “We switch up venues not just for convenience, but to reach those who still don’t know us.”

Beyond book sales, Big Bad Wolf continues its commitment to literacy advocacy. This year, it is donating over 1,000 books each to the Sisters of Mary School Boystown and Girlstown in Cebu, as part of its Red Readerhood initiative.

“Books feed the soul,” Ng said. “Even just one book can change a child’s life.”

Now on its latest run across the Philippines, Big Bad Wolf Books continues to attract both long-time fans and first-time visitors with its promise of affordable reads, rare finds, and an unforgettable book shopping experience. The fair will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and admission is free of charge.
