As we celebrate Christmas once again, I can’t help but reflect on the past year and all the challenges we have faced as a community.
Last Christmas, Cebu was hit by both the pandemic and Typhoon Odette, causing devastation and hardship for so many of us.
But as we come to the end of this year, I am filled with hope and optimism as we see signs of a comeback for Cebu. Our resilience and determination have never wavered.
So as we gather (virtually or in person) to celebrate this Christmas, let us take a moment to give thanks for all the blessings we have received and for the strength and fortitude that have carried us through these difficult times. May this Christmas bring joy, love, and hope to us all, and may the coming year bring even more progress and prosperity.
