Why Is Ube Cheese Pandesal Trending?

Ube and Cheese lovers, let go fo your cravings. For some reason, Ube Cheese Pandesal is the new thing in local pastries in the country!

I don’t know about your Facebook timeline, but mine’s loaded with mouth-watering photos of Ube Cheese Pandesal!

This one reminds me of the hype of Malunggay Pandesal and Shirogi Pan De Coffee craze years ago!

And I can’t deny that my tastebuds are craving for this delicious treat!

So where does this trend started?

According to GMA News, a bakery in Silang, Cavite started the craze by combining two of the Filipino’s most favorite flavors, Ube and Cheese.

And by golly, they got the mass’ attention right away as many versions of Ube Chesse pandesal has spawned in many bakeries across the Philippines.

Heck, even Julie’s Bakeshop even jumped on the bandwagon — but, I got a mixed reactions to their version.

Have you guys already tried the Ube-Cheese Pandesal? Is this gonna stay in our local bakeries for good or just a fad?
